Vixens and Eastwood partnership drives record membership
The Melbourne Vixens are both a long-standing Eastwood client partner and netballing royalty, and we’re absolutely delighted to see them achieve two incredible results in 2024—reaching the Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final and setting an all-time membership record of 9,044 members.
A little over six years ago, the Vixens became the first team to use LEAP, our purpose-built website platform that we created for pro-sport. Initial sessions with the Vixens helped us shape LEAP's base functionality and user experience. Since then, both LEAP and the Vixens have gone from strength to strength. This year’s membership success reflects a 15 percent increase from 2023, building on an impressive 88 percent growth from 2022 to 2023.
In a recent news release by the Vixens, captain Kate Moloney emphasised that the backing from members is a driving force behind the team’s motivation. “The support from Vixens fans is why we do what we do, and smashing the membership record again is really special—it’s inspiration we take into every game,” said Moloney.
